So I had our 20 week scan weds baby was in awkward position have to go back in two weeks for rescan to get some bits we couldn’t see clear enough and my bmi is higher, I have rhesus negative blood baby is rhesus positive and due to the awkward position and additional weight they had to dig in quite hard was even laying on the bed head down at one point lol but I’m still a little sore under my bump tonight and it’s been over 48 hours should I be worried? Should I be getting an anti d injection to be safe or is this normal and wouldn’t harm baby with the blood thing

I doubt you would have been injured enough at the scan to need an anti d injection. But if you are worried call your midwife triage team and have a chat about it. They are the experts and will know what you need! Hope all is ok x

Try not to worry. Are they monitoring your antibody level regularly?
You shouldn't need an anti D until after the birth, but if you get any bleeding at all contact the hospital straight away.
Congratulations x

My midwife said anti-d was only needed if whatever it was was hard enough to leave a mark.

It won't have done anything. You'll get your anti d in 3rd trimester and after birth. You'll be fine

How did this turn out? I just had a scan too and they were pushing hard.

I have texted midwife but no response.
