Should I prepare for miscarriage?

Sonographer said she was struggling to see a heartbeat at 7 weeks, but that if she concentrated hard she thought she could see a flicker. This is 4 days after clearly seeing the heartbeat. Back in a week for another scan, should I be preparing for a miscarriage or is there any hope?

7 weeks? Wow, sounds really early to me. I'm sure if there were signs of something serious they'd be getting you back earlier and doing more tests. I would try and carry on as usual. Best wishes.
