You poor thing! I was huge all the way through my preg - in mat clothes by 10 weeks, had loads of amniotic fluid. I never tried those bump bands but maybe you could invest in one?

biglips · 12/05/2008 20:40

Thankgod for that!

I think theres 2 types of bumpbands, one for covering your belly under clothes and a support one for heavy bumps.

support belt

bellybra , lol, actully looks quite good

biglips - don't bother with a bump band, get yourself to the physio and get a tubi grip, I've been wearing one for weeks and its a big help

they have different sizes to go up along with growth of your bump and costs you not a penny

I did what dizzy did - although I was seeing the physio about my sacroliliac joints coming out, but when I went back for follow-up appointment I said my back was fine but I had lower bump pain and she gave me several belts to try on, including an Emma Jane one. I came home with a belt and an enormous length of tubigrip. It helps a lot but I've had to ditch it in this heat!

Your midwife should refer you, especially as your so uncomfortable so soon.

dizzydixies · 12/05/2008 21:05

and your referal should come in quickly due to you being pregnant

duchess tubi grip def becoming a bit of a bind in the heat so letting it all hang out when I can - not pretty lol
