Hello just in need of advice, I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I (F24) was previously living with my partner (M28) at his mums as we were trying to save for a place of our own. Due to conflict between myself and his mum I've had to move back in with my parents 34 mils away from my partner. I'm now classed as homeless but will he in temporary housing soon, I'd like to move closer to my partner but away from his mum and mine (me and my mum often argue which we dont want) but my mum doesn't want me moving closer to my partner in case conflict starts up again even though his mum isn't speaking to me.

Any advice please?

If your mother will practically support you then I'd probably stay closer to her for the minute. Your partner doesn't seem to have your back.

TBH, if you’re relying on social housing, I don’t think you’ll get much choice. I’d prioritise somewhere where you will be OK with the baby, hopefully with your partner, but on your own if need be.

You need to prioritise having a safe space to live with your baby.

What your mum wants you to do is irrelevant, you're a grown woman.
