Hello, I would like some help calculating my maternity pay if possible I am only looking at taking 7 months off maternity then adding annual leave at the end so it's more like 8 months.
I qualify for the statutory and occupational pay.
im band 3 and I do 34.5 hours a week and I'm at the top of my band (23,640)
my head is getting confused with numbers etc as maths is not my strong point.
I've tried the app but it's not very helpful.
thank you so much in advance.
I think they also take tax and national insurance but I just wanted a rough estimate of how much or how to work it out.

I found this calculator really handy to work out my NHS mat leave pay, unfortunately there is no way of having the predictions minus tax and pension etc so it ends up being a bit of guess work!
