TTC - LH?

Anyone have any ideas why my LH is rising again now 8DPO? Does this mean my “peak” may have not triggered ovulation? I have a short cycle so due on in 4/5 days?

Could it just be a dodgy test? If it’s just one result? Alternatively have you taken a pregnancy test?

I did take another test this morning but forgot to log in in the app, was a similar ratio…and no I haven’t taken a pregnancy test yet as still only 8dpo, can the LH tests show pregnancy? This is my first month using them…🤷

I think sometimes the LH hormone can mimic HCG and you can potentially get a positive LH test when pregnant. I don’t think it’s an exact science though! It might be that your body didn’t ovulate for some reason and is trying again?

That is originally what I thought, just seems odd it would happen now when I’m due on in 4/5 days and it’s normally like clockwork, suppose I’ll just have to wait and see what happens over the next few days, thank you for replying x

Some people take rising LH to indicate possible pregnancy because of what PP has said above about HCG registering on the test
However, I’ve also seen anecdotally that people have had rises in LH prior to their period starting as well so I’d be dubious to put too much hope in it if it were me
