Pregnancy was the only relevant “topic” for my post…
I was just wondering if anyone can give examples of what they had for breakfast, pre and post embryo transfer that had a SUCCESSFUL pregnancy?
Ive looked up foods to have but it’s more what to avoid like bananas, and pineapples etc (when i have these regularly and had no idea they may be harmful to the implantation!)
Any recommendations welcome! Thanks xx

I have no advice to give, as this wasn't a thing when I went through the same proceadure nearly 15 years ago.
The only advice the clinic gave us was not to wear perfume or my Hubby to wear aftershave as the embryos don't like it for some reason.

Anyway good luck with the proceadure, hope it is successful. Will be thinking of you and wishing you all the best.

Usually IVF posts tend to go in the infertility forum: https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/infertility

I ate quite a lot of eggs and avocado on toast for breakfast during IVF and my successful FET, and still do in pregnancy. I continued to eat bananas (I have one pretty much every day) and also had pineapple a few times which didn't appear to impact on anything. I ate a mixture of healthy food but with treats too. It was probably a coincidence but I had success when I was being less strict with food and enjoying some treats like takeaway pizza (literally had it the night before FET 😂) compared to a previous transfer.

A lot of it will be down to the embryo itself rather than what you eat, but of course eating healthy is always good.

Good luck! 😊
