Baby early movement?

Hello, 16w5d today, first pregnancy. For the past couple of days I can feel like a bubbly feeling in my lower abdomen. It feels like bubbles are popping inside me. It only happens usually on either side or the middle at a time. Not sure if this is baby or I'm just trying to convince myself? Don't feel it all the time, I might feel it once then not again for a few hours or the rest of the day.
Honestly it's early, and I'm plus sized, so I think it's just in my head, assumed I wouldn't feel it until later because of my size and with it being first baby, but would love to know when everyone else first felt little one and what it felt like for them?

Anything between 16 and 24 weeks is considered normal for first movements so it could well be!

Initially, it can be very sporadic so not unusual to go a day or even a couple of days without feeling anything and there won't be a set pattern just yet. Gradually, over the next month or 2, you should find they become stronger and more regular until they are really unmistakable baby kicks.

That's your baby! For me it felt like a little fish swimming around
