CSP Abnormality at 19 week scan

I had my 19 week scan yesterday & the sonographer was worried as she could not see the CSP. She kept going back to the brain so I knew something was wrong! She did say baby wasn't in a great position so she also couldn't see the spine but her colleague came in & tried too at the end & said she was seeing the same thing. They referred me to fetal medicine & I have an appointment tomorrow but I am panicking after spending most of yesterday googling what this might mean! I'm a first time mum at 45 & got pregnant via donor egg so I feel like this is my last chance. I'm hoping for some reassurance but also prepared for worst case scenario here....

I had an anomaly scan at 19w and they couldn’t see the CSP, went back 2 weeks later and there it was! From what I understood, pre-20 weeks they might not be able to see it as it’s just too early but doesn’t mean it’s not there! Fingers crossed for you x

@Herewegoagain0 oh gosh how did you get through that 2 weeks?! I am hoping that's the case, I also think they may have my due date wrong as on my early pregnancy scan they gave me a due date that would make me 18 weeks pregnant now but on the next scan they updated it so they now think I am 19 weeks pregnant. Thank you for the reassurance. X
