Tonsillitis at 5 weeks pregnant

In October last year I suffered a MMC at our 10 week scan baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks, during that pregnancy I suffered a bout of tonsillitis, this time around I’m 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and have woken up this morning to tonsillitis, so I’m having a bit of a panic that it’s history repeating itself.
has anyone suffered tonsillitis in early pregnancy before and all has been well?
waiting to get antibiotics from the doctor currently.

I've never heard of any link between tonsillitis and MC...... and many antibiotics are safe for use in pregnancy.

I think it's just that during the first trimester with sickness etc, it's often hard to get the nutrients in so your immune system is lower and you're generally more run down. I know I was. Mine was a recurrent chest infection which hung around for almost 4 months.
