Could it still be waters?

Currently 37+3 and went to triage last night as I wasn't sure whether my waters had gone. No gush, but was feeling a lot wetter than usual. They did the test where they take the swab and that came back negative, but she did note and could see there was increased what she said was discharge, my cervix was also closed. It settled a little over today but again this evening, I can feel it coming out, it's not a constant trickle or gush, it's just a noticeable sensation. Even though the swab came back negative, could there be a chance it may still be?

I don't know if the swab can be wrong.

But you could try putting a tupperware next to your bed tonight. Before you stand up in the morning, squat over the tub. If it's waters it will probably collect a bit during the night and some will trickle out quite quickly. If you collect some, you can take it in to be tested. Likely to be more accurate than a swab since it's an actual sample iyswim?

Yeah, that makes sense! I have a friend who recently had their baby and the test came back negative but a midwife saw it trickle on examination and deemed it her hind waters. So it's hard to judge? I can definitely tell that there is stuff coming out.. and I do feel rather damp.
