Gestational Diabetes Readings Changes at 37wks

So I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes at 28 weeks pregnant
Have been managing it solely by diet, with only a handful of spikes- never over the three a week limit
I've noticed in the last week though my levels are seemingly REALLY good?
Fasting is always in the low 4s, where previously it was usually mid to high
Post breakfast is still my highest reading usually, but still only in the 6s
Lunch is up and down, but usually in the high fives/low sixes
My evening meal ones however are now anywhere from high fours to mix fives and hour after eating?
I'm still eating the same things, but all my dinner readings especially seem much lower? Way under the 7.8 needed and often under even the fasting limit of 5.3!
Anyone else had any similar experiences at this stage in pregnancy?

Yup! It got so much easier towards the end (thank god!). I could actually tolerate bread again.

Make the most of it :)

I had the same experience as well! All of a sudden I wasn't getting any spikes at all and I used to take 4 x Metformin from 28 weeks i think. My best friend said it usually gets better towards the end of pregnancy! I think you might be giving birth very soon! 😁 I ended up in spontaneous labour at 37+6 weeks! Good luck!
