TTC first month easy at home sticks

We have been TTC - started last month. Just started my AF today but I’ve read that lots of people get pregnant if they track their ovulation. Which we did, using the easy at home sticks- we found our peak and everything, did everything the ‘right’ way but still didn’t manage to be successful. Any positive stories with TTC with easy at home ovulation sticks that can make me feel better? Thank you in advance!

Yes, I used them and got pregnant. I think I got pregnant month 2 or 3 of TTC.
As long as you’re doing the deed around the time of ovulation and especially the day or two after your peak then you have every chance of being successful. It’s really normal for very healthy couples to take a few months or even a year to get pregnant.

I used them a couple of years ago when trying for my daughter and fell pregnant, using them again now trying for my second. I read somewhere that even perfectly healthy couples who are having sex at exactly the right time still only have 20% chance of falling pregnant each cycle, so even when you do everything “right” it’s never 100%. (The chance is lower than 20% depending on age)

Wow that’s good it worked out, how many cycles did it take you to conceive?

You’re right. Guess it’s only been a month but I just want this really badly. Gotta wait for gods timing I guess. Maybe next month is my month, who knows! Did you take folic acid or anything?

Yes, I took folic acid and vitamin D everyday when we were TTC. There’s all sorts of conception vitamins you can take, but the important one is folic acid.
It’s hard when you really want something and it doesn’t happen as quickly as you hoped. Fingers crossed next cycle is your one ☝️

It's normal to take 1 year for healthy couples doing everything 'right.' Conception relies on an awful lot lining up to be just perfect, lots of factors involved. As PP said above you only have a 20-25% chance of conceiving every month under normal conditions. Please don't be disheartened. There is a lot to be said for just enjoying the anticipation of it all when starting out TTC.

Took us 9 months of using ovulation sticks to conceive our second child. It’s normal not to conceive right away and it’s also normal if you do

It took a few months with my daughter, we had previously tried & stopped trying for various reasons, when we started again it was about 3 months I think!

This is our second month trying for #2 so who knows, we’ll find out next week if it’s worked!

I would also get a bbt thermometer and track cervical mucus and position.

Opk sticks can sometimes pick up a surge but you don't ovulate.

I used easy at home both times. First time I used them alongside clear blue digital monitor because I was nervous about using the internet cheapies but they peaked at the same time so worked perfectly fine. Second pregnancy I only used easy at home. Conceived first month both times. If you haven't already, it's really helpful to use the premom app to track your results because they can be difficult to read on their own. Best of luck OP.

I used easy at home and it worked on month three x

Three pregnancies here: one mmc, one resulting in dd and one resulting in ds. I did easy at home sticks throughout all three cycles of ttc.

Pregnancy one took eight cycles of ttc, pregnancy two took eight cycles of ttc and pregnancy three took seven cycles of ttc. It’s all down to luck!
