Yellow discharge 34 weeks

Hey everyone. I’ve been having some yellow discharge on and off for the last week or two. It’s not a crazy amount by any means but definitely noticeable every day from 32-34 weeks now.

My midwife said if there’s no odour then she’s happy to ignore it and said it’s quite typical in pregnancy (she hasn’t visibly seen it, she was happy to go on description).

I know I should just believe her and am probably overthinking it but wondering how normal this looks? Has anyone experienced the same?

Thanks so much x

Following as I’ve had similar!

Following too. As I've been losing it for the past week but midwife says it's normal but I'm not convinced

SErunner · 05/03/2025 21:33

It just looks like normal pregnancy discharge. It can vary all the time at this stage. If they're not worried you don't need to be.

Have you had anymore OP? Mine looks really weird today..

TheThreeMiracles · 06/03/2025 18:44

Personally I'd go back for a second opinion looks tinged to me xx

@michelle292429 have you had yours checked ? Doesn't look right to me x

michelle292429 · 06/03/2025 18:55

@TheThreeMiracles yes I was in hospital 3 times last week for different things but my midwife yesterday told me this was ok? I am going to see how it is tomorrow and phone up again and see what they say, I do have a growth scan tomorrow so maybe I'll see if I can see my consultant afterwards

ItsLockWood · 06/03/2025 22:04

@TheThreeMiracles what do you mean by tinged?

@michelle292429 mine has continued too! Another friend said she had similar at this point in her pregnancy up until the end. Everyone seems to think just hormones as you get closer! I haven’t got another midwife appointment until the 17th so will see what happens over the next few days!

@michelle292429 interested to hear how you get on. I still have really similar so will let you know if I hear anything else from the midwife too.

I'll keep you updated. After an awful nights sleep achy and uncomfortable I have woken with just watery discharge this morning, hoping if something is leaking it'll be picked up on today's scan. So done with this pregnancy now just want him here 😢

Bellebg · 07/03/2025 10:40

@michelle292429 good luck for your scan today and hope you can speak to someone. If it helps, I also wake up with watery discharge every morning (in addition to the yellow discharge in the day) and again my midwife said it was super normal x

TheThreeMiracles · 07/03/2025 11:43

@ItsLockWood it looks a bit grey / brown to me xx

michelle292429 · 07/03/2025 14:35

All fine at scan, lots of fluid around baby so not worried about it being waters at all. Should be having a phone appointment with my consultant at some point soon 🤞🏻 Will keep an eye on discharge as the hospital always say to phone and send in photos if anything changes so they can assess to see if I need to be seen rather than going everytime. Not long to go and he should be here anyway

I had this pretty much all pregnancy. They say your multivitamins do this!
