I’m pregnant with my second baby and want to book an early scan, weve been trying for 18 months and never had a positive so I’m just in disbelief. I never had an early scan with my daugther..

Where’s the best place to go Lincoln or Nottingham would be best?

And would it be better for internal ultrasound? As I found somewhere with really good reviews but they only do external and worried about paying to not be able to see anything.
I’ll be roughly around 8 + 3. I have irregular periods tho so could even be earlier

I think 8 plus 3 external is okay? I had external with both of mine at 6 weeks. But maybe book somewhere that does offer both so you don't risk not getting the scan.
I am not familiar with the areas you mentioned but I usually just google and pick one with good reviews can you do that?

No experience in your area so can't advise location sorry. But I had regular scans from 6+3 due to history and if it helps they were all abdominal, I never needed an transvaginal scan.

@remaininghopeful23 thank you that’s reassuring so I should be able to see something because I see me being less than 6 weeks as I last had a period on the 10th Jan got my positive 2-3 on 13th Feb

@noraheggerty we’ve ended up booking ultrasound direct in Lincoln there’s one in Nottingham too just because they do both external and internal if they can’t get a clear image

@Lauren8642 thank you that looks great. I'm going to see if I can get one on the NHS because of my age (I'm 47) but if not then I'll book with them.
