TWINS?????

So I had a scan at 6 weeks TV, seen a little bean with a flickering heartbeat.

Sent to my sonographer friend who thinks twins??

What do you think?

There's no photo yet but wouldn't the sonographer mention it at the time if they thought it was twins? Or do they not mention it that early in case one disappears?

I have no idea I was just over the moon to see a little heartbeat, you actually didn't see anything else in real time, wasn't until I receive the images and shared with my friend in Oz 🤔

Well I'm not a sonographer so no expert at all but I'd have thought it was easier to tell what was what on a live, moving scan than later on a blurry, still photo?

Surely the sonographer would have mentioned two embryos, sacs etc..... and there was only one heartbeat I take it?

You would think,

She literally said you are so early, I can see a pregnancy there's a heart beat we will get you back in two weeks to see if it progresses! Lasted about two minutes 😭

Looks like one to me. Could be the start of the yolk sac there.

Its very clear on a scan if there is 2, i had early scan at 9 weeks and even me and OH could see straight away (like as soon as the scanner was placed on my stomach) there was 2 lol xx

I've got twins.

At 6 weeks there was only one.

At 7 weeks there were 2!!

Hey, we had a further scan on Wednesday and baby had no heartbeat 😞 we went back today for a confirmation scan and blood work before surgery tomorrow, 2 babies found mono/mono twins.
