Hello! 34 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and looking for opinions on which manual breast pump. I have the Elvie electric pump but want a decent manual backup as it's not always the most reliable and hear good things about Haakaa and Medela. Thoughts appreciated.

A haakaa isn't a pump you put it on to catch the drips from the other side of the boob- i would stick with the elvie and get a madela if you're struggling with it. I personally hated manual pumping but didn't mind electric pump

agree haakka is a let down catcher

Thanks, I've been told by multiple people to absolutely get a Haakaa. It is described as a pump but I understand the mechanism. Have you used it and do you recommend it?

Yes had one and it was great! Also had a medela electric pump. Haakka was only useful for 0-3 months
