Did anyone crave this before finding out they were pregnant please and did they have a boy or a girl?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I did and I’m having a boy

SquashedGrape1 · 03/03/2025 22:28

I did and I had a girl

Mmmm Discos!

That's a staple for a lot of women in the first trimester as the salt/salt and vinegar can help with morning sickness. Don't think it makes any difference if you're having a boy or girl.

2 girls here and the cravings were completely different in both pregnancies

Ladyglittersparkleseriously · 03/03/2025 22:31

I did, also apples, orange juice and coca cola, and I had a girl. Good luck OP!

I craved this in my twin girl pregnancy and my singleton boy pregnancy. I really don't think it's a good indication of the baby's sex.

DullardFrigate · 03/03/2025 22:34

I just craved vinegar when I was pregnant with Dd. Crisps or chips were just a vessel for it.

Dyra · 04/03/2025 06:34

Both pregnancies, but especially my first. I had a girl then a boy.

TaggieO · 04/03/2025 06:37

It’s not remotely linked to sex of the baby? Almost everyone I know who had a baby did and I’d say we are a fairly even split in terms of what we had?

NormaNormalPants · 04/03/2025 08:11

I think it’s a fairly common craving regardless of sex of the baby. I have a DD and DS and my cravings were pretty much the same for both.

TTCRainbow · 04/03/2025 12:51

I craved exactly this and had a boy! 🩵

Oh yes, so vinegary they made me sweat if at all possible! That and absolutely ice cold Diet Coke.

Dithercats · 04/03/2025 13:01

I ate crisps, chips and mash my entire pregnancy. Had a 🩷

LittlePositanoLemon · 04/03/2025 19:10

Yes with tuna mayo sandwiches mmmm...I'm having a boy!

Cotswoldmama · 04/03/2025 19:18

With my first son I had really bad morning sickness and could only tolerate ketchup or prawn cocktail flavour crisps and coke but only from a can! With my second son now sickness or cravings, so I'm not sure there's a correlation!

greentree16 · 04/03/2025 21:41

I loved salt and vinegar crisps, and toast with dairylea spread! Now can't stand either and I'm having a boy 🥰
