Sore throat -what can I take

Currently 6.5 weeks pregnant and have an incredibly sore throat. I know people take baby asprin right through for pre-eclampsia etc so is it safe to take for a sore throat?

Will go to docs on Monday but need something now

Paracetamol is safe. Also a hot drink of honey and lemon can be really soothing plus has antimicrobial properties. Feel better soon!

Don't take aspirin unless directed by a doctor. Paracetamol only.
