Early Labour?

Currently 36+2, with a history of PPROM and prev 35 weeker so I think paranoia is playing a part here. Last night just started with what felt like just uncomfortable period pains, they were on and off for about two hours, they started to settle and I managed to get some sleep, this morning just feels like so much pulling and tugging low down, all feels in my groin also, almost like a constant dull ache? Awful back ache last 24hrs too. Baby is moving fine, so not concerned there. I guess confusion feels whether this is just end of pregnancy aches or whether something is starting.

Could be OP. You're very nearly term and with previous early labour I wouldn't be surprised. Try to rest and eat 🤞

Hi OP, I'm 36+1 and actually started my own thread 2 days ago about early signs of labour as I've been experiencing very much the same as you have.

Thursday night the pressure down below was so intense I thought my waters were going to pop at any second. I've had the same: cramps, tightening of the belly, lightning crotch, my back and pelvis are aching, struggling to sleep or get comfy. Also had loose bowels and sickness/nausea.

It's lasted about 48 hours now and no sign of labour.

Hi @sel2223 - thank you for this! The nausea has started this morning. I definitely think there is some anxiety there from my previous labour being early. We're just keeping an eye and might try a warm shower. It comes in peaks, almost. Could have nothing for ages and then I'm having to stop in my tracks to deal with the uncomfortable-ness.
