Afterbirth contractions baby3 C-section

After my 2nd csections the contractions after birth was horrendous and I remember crying in pain for a week after. I did have surgery to remove my bladder from uterus so not sure if that made the pain worse. I'm having my 3rd soon and worried about the pains again. Is it worse as I've heard they only get worse ?

The contractions for your uterus to return to normal size certainly get stronger with each child ime. I had 3, just make use you have painkillers at home. I didn;t find them totally horrendous as I have awful periods anyway.
