I can't believe I have gone from hardly eating in the first trimester due to sickness to now eating almost every hour! 😂 I am loving snacking at the moment, little and often.

I am also waking up in the night/ early hours to need a wee and then I will be so hungry that I can't get back to sleep! Who else is going through this? Do you snack in the night and not feel guilty? I am considering having a snack stash in by bed side table 🙈

Definitely snack whenever you’re hungry! I used to get up for a big bowl of cereal in the night when I couldn’t sleep because I was hungry and pregnant with my first.

Oh yes, my LO woke me up in the night, resettled quickly but then I was downstairs eating toast and marmalade 😅

First trimester - too sick to eat, lost weight

Second trimester - famished, terrible sweet tooth, could eat anything and snack all day and all night

Third trimester - sickness back and horrendous acid reflux mean I can only eat very small amounts at a time and nothing tastes as it should. Losing weight again.

Absolutely. My DP used to waken me because my stomach was making such loud noises. I kept biscuits at my bedside
, wee nibble and off to sleep again. Made me feel so much better each morning.

Milk and biscuits on the bedside table.

I kept oatcakes by the bed. I don't recall if I ate in the night but I definitely wanted to eat immediately when I woke.
