Those who had morning sickness, what could you eat and drink? Unsure if hyperemesis again but I'm just not enjoying any taste of my food. Vomiting and heaving a lot (heaving painful of I haven't had much to eat). Finally got Xonvea but hasn't kicked in properly yet.

Just throw me some of the things that worked for you. Especially drinks.

Help

Fizzy sweets!

In the first trimester, party rings, cold toast with butter and marmite and lemon squash.

Then lemon squash made me sick. As did every other liquid!

Cold toast and marmite is still a staple and my daughter is three!

Completely plain jacket potatoes
Tunnocks caramel wafers
Sliced apples
And very occasionally, a small bowl of cornflakes

And that was it. I couldn't make myself eat anything else, and I couldn't guarantee any of the things above would actually stay down. Drinking anything at all was problematic. I couldn't swallow my pregnancy vitamins or the antibiotics I needed for a water infection, and I struggled even putting my toothbrush in my mouth.

I lost 1.5 stone in my first trimester, until I eventually got some decent drugs.

Irn bru.
But then I'm Scottish!
Really helped

Ice cubes and I found sipping water through a straw was easier. Once I could tolerate tea it was better coming back up than water!

Otherwise rich tea or digestive biscuits.

I lost a stone at least with HG during pregnancy and am now currently awake feeding the eight pounds three chunk that I gave birth to three weeks ago!

During the worst part: McDonald's chicken selects and fries, Chicago Town pepperoni pizza, bananas and generally found carb heavy foods more tolerable. Ate a lot of crumpets too. I hope xonvea is helping, it's soooooo crap being sick all the time. I think I have PTSD from it

Hard green apples which l ate on repeat to keep that taste out of my mouth. Like a drug addiction if none in the house.
Ginger nut biscuits or dry cream crackers.
No tea or coffee for 9 months each time but the first cup of tea after birth was like heaven..its mad!

I did salty chicken things with my 1st. Chicken noodle soup. Chicken noodles. Chicken chips. And I carried a big bottle of ginger beer around with my 2nd.

Mashed potato and corned beef....
Tangfastics, LOTS of ice cold water with lots of ice cubes, toast with butter (as long as it was crunchy), ready salted crisps - but only Walkers or Pom Bears, and I'm still eating microchips on bread and butter with salt and tomato sauce and buttered rolls
Occasionally I could tolerate scrambled eggs with a little tomato sauce at the side
