Positive of invalid?

This morning I did a test with my first wee of the day but I peed a bit too high on the stick, but my question is, can that give a false positive?

I've since done another test which is negative but I'd had a few coffees by that point so could possibly be that my HCG is too diluted now?

Just not sure whether to give up hope or test again first thing tomorrow?

The pic is the morning test... What are your thoughts?

I'm confused because it's clear where I accidentally splashed it a bit but there is also another line in the test section and I don't know how to take it 🤔

Yes it's flooded and therefore sadly invalid.

Peeing into a cup and then dipping tests is a good way to avoid this. Try again tomorrow.

I wouldn't class this as your positive. The test appears flooded with urine and there's too much dye run off.

Do another test in morning. Use a sample pot and only dip for designated time and this will avoid flooding test.
