Flying with jet2

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and just had my midwife appt. I’m on holiday in a few weeks flying out at 26wks exactly and returning at 27 plus 3.
spoke to the midwife who has given me a confirmation of pregnancy with my due date, so nor a fit to fly per se. It’s also going to be dated with today’s date.

jet2 website states this: After the end of the 27th week of pregnancy, expectant mothers must provide us with a doctor's certificate confirming their stage of pregnancy and that they are fit to fly, failing which we reserve the right to refuse carriage. This certificate needs to be dated within 7 days of the outbound date of travel and 16 days of the inbound date of travel.

do you think my letter confirming that I’m below 28wks will suffice? And therefore the dates of won’t matter as my flight is 3 weeks away.

I flew with jet2 at 26/27 weeks. They did ask how far gone I was, but as soon as I said it was under the 28 weeks, they just replied 'ah OK then, that's great' and carried on as normal.
No request for proof.

@ecossegirl91 take care with dates and the terminology they use. At the end of the 27th week of pregnancy you are 27 weeks pregnant. At 27+3 you are already in the 28th week.
