Hello, first time pregnant so still very confused on what's normal and not and getting used to things.

This might sound a bit stupid and tmi but my breasts have, of course, changed since getting pregnant and I was just having a look at them before getting into the shower before and I thought my nipples looked a bit different than what they have been. I squeezed gently and out came a little flow of clear liquid.

Is this colostrum? Would it not be too early for this to be produced? Just wondering if anyone else had it like this. There wasn't exactly a streaming flow of liquid coming out, just a little bit and I stopped almost as soon as I saw it but there was definitely clear liquid coming out. I do plan on trying to breastfeed, so I need to get used to liquid coming out of there, I just thought it'd be far too early at this point.

I had to wear breast pads for a time during my second trimester due to leaking. Some women just do, mine did stop but I can’t remember at what point before the birth as he’s a young adult now!

Yes it will be the start of colostrum production. Nothing to worry about. I've had it from early on with both pregnancies. Don't start actively expressing and collecting until 36 weeks, just leave it alone until then!
