Hi,
I had a medical abortion on Thursday. Took the 4 pills at 8:30 and then 2 orally 11:30. Had the typical cramping, bleeding and nausea. Nothing too horrific though, was more painful and heavier than a period but not as bad as I originally thought.
I bled quite heavily for Thursday and Friday but by Sunday the bleeding had slowed quite significantly with Monday being only the slightest bit of fresh red blood on the pad. I was told if the bleeding had slowed by 4 days after then it could have possibly failed.
I feel like the pregnancy was passed, I was only 4-5 weeks along and the pregnancy symptoms have lessened but I didn’t feel pregnant to begin with. I didn’t get nausea like I did with my first and the sore boobs and cramping were pretty inconsistent. I do feel more like I did before pregnancy though, I have more energy and I feel like my tummy has went down a bit but again, my tummy was never big with to begin with which I didn’t think would be the case.
I am going to phone the clinic tomorrow to ask but just wondering if anyone else didn’t bleed for too long after but still had a successful termination?
Thanks! :)
