Hi,
not sure if anyone can help. I’m currently trying to work out the period my mat leave average would be. My due date is the 30th august. Im also puzzled on whether it’s the shifts you do in that period that the average is taken from, or the pay you physically get in those weeks 🤔

It's the period between 17-25 weeks, and it's the shifts you do that count. Where possible most of my friends did as many night shifts they could in those weeks.

Hi, is this dependant on trust? I'm in Scotland is it the same here as down south?

So basically I need to do as many hours as I can in that period! 🙋🏼‍♀️

My qualifying week leads up to mid June and I’ve been told it’s the 2 full pay days before this!
So shifts in March and April for April and May pay days.
you can always confirm with your own payroll in case of slight deviations like I’ve been told
