Has anyone in pregnancy found they could smell their partner way more stronger like their scent and body odour?

Yes. Normal, but gross.

KnickerlessParsons · 23/02/2025 19:35

No. But DH knew I was pregnant before I did because I smelled different. All three times.

Yes your sense of smell goes into overdrive so normal enough. For years I've used this odourless kitchen cleaning spray as I find the odours a bit overpowering. It was as it said on the tin completely odourless.. that was until I was pregnant and suddenly could smell a strong chemical smell from it. DH didn't know what I was talking about but for the whole pregnancy it had an odour. Haven't smelled it since DS was born. Pregnancy is so weird and wonderful😂

Very usual pregnancy symptom. I kept making my poor DH have loads of extra showers.

I can smell everything so much stronger. And my LO is using a potty still 🤮

Your sense of smell increases massively in pregnancy so this is normal.

When are you due on your period? Some people find increased sense of smell is an early symptom.
