Hi just looking for some help and advice. I’ve been using the Flo app for a few months now, my periods are irregular but they always have been as I have PCOS. Last few months my cycles have been about 40 days long with my period lasting 5-6 days.My last period started on 3rd January and I was supposed to start again on 12th February. just found out on Monday 17th Feb that I’m pregnant. Did a ClearBlue test which says 1-2 weeks. But my Flo app says I’m 7 weeks, I’m more inclined to believe the test as I don’t think I’m quite that far along.. the only symptoms I’ve had so far is tiredness and sore breasts.. and abit of hunger.. if anyone can help that would be much appreciated I’m new to this and I don’t have a clue!

Congratulations!😊 The apps won't be able to predict when you ovulate with long or irregular cycles, so I would ignore what they're saying. Usually you ovulated 2 weeks before your period comes (ish) so if your period was due 12th then youre 3-4 weeks pregnant. This lines up with the CB test as 1-2 means you conceived 1-2 weeks ago, making you 3-4 weeks pregnant. Hope this makes sense.

The apps provide a guesstimate only and are not accurate for a lot of women.

Unless you were physically tracking and know exactly when you ovulated then only a scan will be able to give you any real answers.

I too have long and irregular cycles. I went for an early scan when FLO predicted I would be 8+2 but I actually only measured 6+1. At my 12 week dating scan, I had caught up a few days and was 10 days behind the FLO date and that's where I've stayed consistently ever since. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant.
