So i stopped taking my contraceptive pill 16th of January due to receiving a faint positive on a clear blue ( we was already planning for me to come of my pill to TTC )
On 20th of January i had what i thought was my breakthrough bleed or possible period ( the pain was strong but the first day i bled light , 2nd day was brown and 3rd and 4th day was light red)
I saw clearblue can give false positives so i tried a pink dye on the 30th of January( i thought i could see a faint line but not entirely sure)

14th of February i got a faint positive and on the 15th i got clear positives.

My Flo app predicts me to be 4 weeks and 6 days but my app called period tracker period calendar ( flower symbol on a book ) days i am 5 weeks and 5 days… Now the Flo app i have only used since 25th of January… but the P.C app i have used since 2021 maybe before that so that has all my pill information , breakthrough bleed weeks ect .

What app would be correct? Ive added pics below of both the January tests

I am booked in for a midwife appointment in a months time, i know an ultrasound would be the way to know but i have had a miscarriage before and wanted an Early Scan but they are from 7 weeks onwards

You can have an early scan from 5 weeks it will only show a gestational sac at that point but the pregnancy can still be dated

Does it really matter if you're 4+6 or 5+5? That's less than a week difference.

I wanted to book an early scan but they said from 7 weeks only so the week would matter in terms of booking

At 5 weeks a small gestational sac can be seen. Towards the end of 5 weeks you can see a yolk sac and sometimes a fetal pole. 6+ weeks a heartbeat can often be seen . Scans this early need to be transvaginal

NHS EPUs don’t tend to scan earlier than 6/7 weeks unless there’s an actual reason like heavy bleeding. But you CAN have scans as early as 5 weeks to check it’s in the correct position etc.

The apps are all just a guesstimate and not accurate for a lot of women, if you weren't physically tracking then you won't get your official due date until your 12 week dating scan (that's the most accurate one for measurements, even earlier scans can be wrong).

I would book a scan as late as possible if i was you. I went when the apps put me at 8+2 but only measured 6+1 as I have long and irregular cycles. I'm now 35 weeks.

Under 6 weeks there is no guarantee you will see anything other than a thickening of the uterus lining or an empty gestational sac. There are threads on here every day from anxious women who've had very early scans and then have to face the awful 10-14 day wait to go back and see if the pregnancy has progressed. Better to just wait longer in the first place.

Good luck
