Hi all,
8 months ago I had 1 chemical pregnancy at 4+3days I've recently found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant and I'm so scared everytime I go to the toilet I'm constantly checking the tissue paper for any blood I'm constantly worrying things are going to end everyday I'm testing to see if lines are getting darker they are but I'm currently testing every day.. I've booked a private scan at 7 weeks still a long way to go yet it's dragging urg! It's making me feel miserable 😞 I should be excited but my anxiety has gone through roof.

Does anyone have any successful stories that can put me on ease please 🙏 🙂 ☺️

Big hug. I had seven early losses before having DS (completely natural) but had just started fertility investigations. The month I got pregnant the consultant told me I would never get and stay pregnant on my own without treatment (low progesterone and thin uterine lining). He was wrong. DS is now 18. I did then have treatment and had two more early losses before having DT. It’s miserable when you are going through it. Take one day at a time. Hang in there. X

Baby aspirin has worked for me so far (16weeks ) after two early loses.

I have been advised against it by midwife as they said I had no need to use it. However I read loads of woman who suffered early loses started on baby aspirin as soon as getting positive pregnancy test and went onto have healthy full term babies.

No idea for me if it is the baby aspirin or coincidence but I am too scared to stop it just incase.

Sending best wishes Flowers

Yes. Had my first at 37 without trying. Assumed second would be along soon after - gave it a year after the birth before activey trying. It took another 2 years + of trying and countless chemical pregnancies. But then baby 2 came along and was perfect in every way. I had progesterone and aspirin to support early pregnancy- I don't remember exactly but think they said to wait until I'd missed a period by a week and test, then if positive to use the progesterone and aspirin. I didn't early test after the first two chemicals but know I had a lot more over those two years. But pregnancy also coincided with milk drying up and me enjoying alcohol and caffeine for the first time in years. It was Xmas and I'd pretty much given up hope of a second baby by this point. Oh we also didn't bother with trying at the "right time" that month. Based on my cycle it was too late and I didn't expect to be pregnant at all. I hope you have a similarly positive outcome even though the road there is hard and all consuming at times.

Yes but not until I made sure my TSH was under 2. Check your latest blood test results, or get tested.

Totally understand you’re frightened, I would say you should focus on managing your anxiety , when you notice yourself ruminate take a few deep breaths and divert your attention. Meditation, fresh air, a massage ect would be very good for you ❤️
have a look online got anxiety management techniques, it would be a healthier way to manage things rather than checking, doom scrolling online etc which can’t bring you security anyways unfortunately.

i wish you all the best!!

Thank you for all your replies, So sorry for the ladies that's lost pregnancies it's an awful experience no one should have to go through but unfortunately we do.. I asked my doctor about progesterone he wouldn't put me on it because it's only the 1 early loss I've had and cos I've had 2 live births previously, but he did say if anything happens again they will do tests he gave me a higher dose of folic acid that all 5mg, I do need to distract myself I worry too too much I'm praying I make it past 5 weeks. 🙌

I had one full term pregnancy, 2 chemicals, 2 misscarriges and gave up. Found out I was pregnant again and it stuck, now have 2 happy healthy children. Pregnant with DC3 now and have only just accepted it’s a viable pregnancy - today at a private gender scan! Loss is so hard no matter how early it is. Sending love - I was you a few years ago. I promise it can and does happen x
