Travel before starting IUI

Hi all,
my partner and I were planning on traveling from the UK to Africa and going on safari for a week, before starting our IUI journey later in the month. However I’m now worrying that maybe it’s a bad idea to do a big trip and could throw off my chances of getting pregnant once we get back..

any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated!

Why would that be an issue? Are you worried you might get ill? Do you need vaccinations? If so, just check how long you need to wait (if at all) before ttc.

I do get it, I did multiple rounds of ivf and did overthink things like long car journeys after transfer. Good luck.

we would be going to South Africa so no vaccinations needed and it’s a malaria free area. However I read that travel and long haul flights can mess up your cycle so was feeling a bit concerned!
