Clear blue digital tests

Hi there, I’m just wondering if anyone has had a clear blue test come back saying 1-2 weeks pregnant when they think they are actually less than a week pregnant (I think 5 days) Obviously clear blue doesnt have the option of marking days just weeks. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Thank you

There’s not really such a thing as 5 days pregnant. When you conceive it takes minimum 5 days for a fertilised embryo to start implanting. So if you had sex 5 days ago for example it would be impossible to actually be “pregnant” yet. It then takes at least a few days for the hormones to raise enough to show on a test. So by the time you test positive you are normally over one week since conception and over 3 weeks by pregnancy dating terms.

Ah right, it’s just so bizarre as I could have only really conceived 4 weeks ago or 5 days ago so maybe it’s the digital test that is wrong?

The weeks indicators are normally not that reliable. I’d assume you conceived 4 weeks ago. Do you have periods? When was your last one? I’d explain to the GP or someone and see if they’ll organise bloods or a scan.
