Bump at 10+4?!

Hi everyone

Second baby for me, my first I didn't show until 14/15 weeks.

I woke up with a round belly that's got larger throughout the day! Is this a bump or bloating?

Baggy jumpers for me whilst visiting family this weekend! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm pregnant with my second too and was showing much much earlier than i ever did with my first.
I swear I had a distinguishable bump from about 8/9 weeks!

I showed much earlier second time around. Not much until about 14 weeks first time, but was showing around 11 weeks at second time.

Still bloating. Baby is barely out of pelvis and very tiny at this stage.

I think it’s probably just bloat. Third baby I looked like that 7-10 weeks and it went away!! Then I got a bump at 16 weeks or so

Congratulations OP! A lot of it is down to bloating at this stage. Progesterone is really high in early pregnancy and that hormone wreaks havoc on your digestive system. But also, because its your second baby, your body has an element of muscle memory and is remembering what it did last time. So it's just stretching out in preparation to do what it did before. Amazing how our bodies work! Baby is still a tiny little bean that is still tucked down underneath your pubic bone, despite how your tummy might feel😅 Your body is just acting as if baby is a whole lot bigger already!

When I was about 20 weeks pregnant I saw one of the mums from school and was so shocked to see her with a bump the same size as mine. I apologised to her saying I had no idea she was pregnant too and felt awful that I'd chatted to her about my pregnancy without realising she was going through the same. She then whispered "I'm only eight weeks gone but it's very hard to hide the bump". I must say, from that point til she was about 24 weeks, her bump stayed exactly the same size. Obviously the bloat became baby!

Congrats.

I had a bump like that at 10 weeks but I had twins!
