Ever since I had a speculum exam on 3 days ago I’ve had brown/pink spotting/discharge. I’ve been to the pregnancy unit and as a result since I’ve had a scan and baby was fine. They said to monitor for a week as another speculum exam could irritate things. They can’t be sure it’s that that’s causing the bleeding but it just seems possible as they can’t find any other reasons. Has anyone experienced this, I’m just constantly anxious, every time I go to to the toilet and see brown or pink. The pink suggested that there is some kind of fresh blood and seems unlikely a speculum exam would cause such a big response.
