Cycles after a loss

Hi everyone.
im recently recovering from a loss at ten weeks. I noticed my last cycle before i got pregnant was 42 days and the one where i got pregnant was 34 days. I’ve always had slightly longer cycles but now im worrying that I am not going to ovulate every month. Is there anything I can take to ensure I do? Is it possible to only notice ovulation some months and not others? I usually get pain on my right hand side when ovulating. Worried it isn’t going to happen again for me . I’m 36 and over the last year I’ve lost 90lbs in weight which I think has helped because I don’t think I was ovulating when I was overweight.

Sorry for your loss, OP. ❤️ I didn't always have signs I was ovulating (discharge or pain or anything) all the time I was TTC. The month I conceived the first time I didn't have any signs at all.

Fwiw, my cycles were a little off after my miscarriage for about two months, then fell pregnant again on the third cycle. The first one was short for me - 28 days instead of 33 - and the second very long - 42 days! - so I think it can take time to settle. I used the highly sophisticated (😂) free Fitbit tracking app to track my periods and it was actually was pretty accurate at predicting my ovulation dates when I conceived after my loss.

I just took another and it’s a faint line but I think it may be picking up the hcg from mc if I’m honest. This sucks 😢

Thank you so much for giving my hope. I really hope I can be successful too within three months. Xx

@Aimz1232024 Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 I feel very lucky and there are plenty of threads on MN showing that lots of women have very long journeys to a baby which remind me how hard it could have been.

BUT everyone is different so be careful you don't put pressure on yourself. TTC can be cruel enough as it is, so be very kind to yourself.

Comparison is the thief of joy and sometimes things take time. ❤️ Take care. Take the days one at a time.
