I am 39+3 now
When I was about 36 weeks I started developing a really sore itchy rash, almost like prickly heat. Well now this week it's got worse.
All over my arms, back, bum and legs. It's so sore clothes hurt it but it's also so itchy.

Has anyone had the same? And know what I can do to relieve the itch and pain?

Please tell me it will go once I've given birth 🙈

You need to get checked. Could be choleastitis, probably spelt that wrong but I'd be getting checked tonight

I had this when expecting DS at 36 weeks, it sucks. Do go to doctors, I got to see a dermatologist pretty fast (this was over a decade ago, though) and got some creams that at least allowed me to be able to wear clothes again but I was warned it wouldn't entirely go away until after the birth. It did clear off pretty fast afterwards thankfully - good luck with it, do get whatever medical support you can.

I'd be seeking professional medical advice and a blood test

You really need to speak to a Dr/midwife as soon as possible to rule out cholestasis .. which is very dangerous for your baby..

But I had PUPPS (Purpural Urticarial Pruritis of Pregnancy) and I'm afraid whilst it got better it didn't really go for over 8 weeks.. steroid cream helped as did tepid baths/showers..

Thanks for replies.

I've been to doctors and midwife's and had all the tests. It's not the liver thing.
The doctors have given me creams, steroid creams and antihistamines but nothings helping it's just getting worse.

Just hoping it goes away eventually.

To top it off I now have tonsillitis.

This pregnancy is going to break me I swear.
