Hello,

We had our 20 week scan and it was a difficult one. The baby position meant we had to go out and for a walk to try and get the baby in a better position in order to take measurements. Eventually all them measurements were taken. We thought all was ok as at the time no concerns were given.

A week or so later we got a call saying they want to scan in a more specialist hospital because the head is in the 80th percentile and the brain in the 10th. Obviously we are now very worried. I've done lots of googling (not a good idea) and found many examples of large or small head, but nothing about that ratio difference.

They said try not to worry and it's for reassurance, but that's probably because when calling to book the appointment there were a lot of tears.

Has anyone had similar? Our scan isn't for a week so this is really on our minds!

Thank you!

I didn't want to read and run. I don't have any wisdom to share I'm afraid but just wanted to say good luck for the scan and I really hope it'll offer you some reassurance. I can't imagine how worrying this must be for you Flowers

Hello, we had our in depth London scan and everything is ok! Huge relief. Was just a scanning mistake on the first scan. Adding in case anyone googles similar and finds this - try not to worry.
