Hi,

Been for a 16 week anatomy scan after son was stillborn a few years back. They have mentioned my placenta being vascular with some placenta lakes. Told me baby looks ok and I will be monitored, anyone ever been told this? I'm extremely anxious after losing our son 😪

I haven't been through the same but am currently 20 weeks after a loss and know the anxiety you feel. Most services are so good with monitoring you and my epu will see you if you feel anything is weird. On a side note if you haven't I would get your midwife to refer you to perinatal mental health for the anxiety. I did and whilst it was a bit weird going through all the screening because obviously they cater for all sorts of mental health issues I now have a really decent range of support. Counselling/medication which has helped massively with the anxiety.
