Brown discharge after cervix checks with speculum 21 weeks

My cervix was fine and they said it looked fine, closed etc Immediately after I had don’t mild tissue like bits come out, not really fresh blood and now a day later discharge still is not entirely white. Bit if a brown tinge. I have been scanned and baby is fine. Has anyone experienced this? I’m reluctant to have cervix looked at again as I think the exam is what triggered this.

It's very unlikely that the speculum caused your symptoms- you said they were happening before the examination. I do think you need to do whatever the HCPs recommend-whatever that is.
