Baby bump measuring small?

I went for my 26 week midwife appointment today I'm actually 26+5 however when she measured my bump she said I was only measuring 23cm meaning I was measuring a few weeks behind, I am only short and a slimmer build and she didn't sound overly concerned however referred me for a growth scan, I just wondered if anyone else experienced this and it turned out to be nothing or okay?

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was almost 29 weeks pregnant but was measuring at 24. The midwife sent me for a growth scan and the baby is the exact weight it should be. The sonographer said that they have people going for growth scans all of the time and most of the time the baby is growing fine but they just have to check.
I’m sure it will be nothing to worry about!
I am really slim and petite so I think that’s why I’m a little bit small.

When I went for my 36 week appointment my bump measured the same as it did at my 34 week appointment.

My midwife sent me for an urgent growth scan (a week later!) and everything was fine. When he was born at 42+1 he was 8lb 13.5oz.

I called it Mary Poppins magic number generator tape.

I'd go in for one appointment and be like 5cm ahead (so growth scan), then I'd be measuring right but actually 1cm smaller than last time (so another growth scan). Then over, then under, repeat. Last few weeks of pregnancy my bump consistently went down despite how massive I was and visibly bigger on photos.

Growth scans were similar and said I was getting a 20th centile baby. One of the scans was even 2 days before I gave birth. I was nearly induced for suspected IUGR.

My baby was over 9lb. Not a single growth scan had put him anywhere near that 😅

Edit to add in labour (which went pear shaped but not due to size - turns out I hypercontract and my body went into shock, and baby was in a bad position which was just bad luck) all the doctors etc had my growth chart up and they laughed at how no single measurement aligned with the previous one and were taking 'bets' on what the size would be. Not one thought he'd be that big.

Growth scans notoriously wrong!! I wouldn’t worry at all by that amount xx

My bump measured small. I can't remember measurements but on the adjusted chart for my size and build my bump was always bang on 10th percentile, I'm 5ft2 and slim build and I was never close to 1cm per week. To be referred for growth I needed to be under the 10th percentile.
She was born at 38+6 at 6lb 13 which was a very good weight for my size and gestation. From recollection it was the equivalent of 60th percentile on my chart! She's 4 now and is short for her weight - 2nd-4th percentile for height, 25th-50th for weight and has always had this body shape.

I measured small all through my first pregnancy. Went for a scan around 32/34 weeks which was fine. She was born 7lb 13oz around due date so not remotely small. People just carry differently. They'll keep an eye on you, try not to worry :)
