I’m almost 19 weeks pregnant and for 4/5 days now I’ve had on/off sharp stabbing pains on my lower left abdomen, on the left hand side of my c section scar. I don’t know that the pain is specifically caused by my scar/beneath, just after several days of this on/off sharp pain I think that’s the closest to where I can describe it! I had a c section 2.5 years ago and it went really well and I’ve had zero issues with the scar/area since. No pain etc whatsoever.
with my first, round ligament pain was generally if I would stretch or move too quickly and it would feel like my womb was giving me a good telling off 😂It would bloody hurt for a good few seconds and it felt like a real stretching pain, but that’s nothing like the pain I’m experiencing now. Especially because this pain isn’t caused by anything specifically, I can be sat not moving and it’ll stab!! When I’ve googled it’s said either round ligament pain or pain caused by the c section scar tissue underneath stretching. I don’t really like the sound of either but wondering if anybody else had any experiences with similar? Again not sure if it’s caused by c section related issues as it’s only the very left hand side of the scar so could be totally unrelated! The joys of pregnancy
