Hyperemesis and Nausea

Hi ladies,

Long term HG sufferer here in my 2nd pregnancy. Wondering if any other sufferers have found a miracle combination that helps with the NAUSEA alone. Can just about manage to get on top of the sickness with a combo of cyclizine and ondansetron but nothing helping with the nausea and with a toddler running wild im really, really, struggling.

I'm sure all other HG sufferers will agree - the nausea is worse than the sickness!

Nothing truly helped me but I had a few things that would help for a couple of days here and there.

• travel sickness bands
• eating ice/sipping iced drinks
• eating teeny bites of toast every so often to line my stomach so I never got hungry (hunger would make me puke and then eating would make me puke again)
• keeping cool (warmth would make me feel sick)

Thanks @Incakewetrust it's a total nightmare isn't it. Agree about the warmth. I can't shower or bathe now as every time I do even with water not too hot I throw up in the shower/bath. Not sure what I'm meant to do about that 😂

@BooToYouHalloween it's the one I haven't been prescribed yet (not as well prescribed in Scotland) but heard from a friend it's the same as the others and doesn't help the nausea? Do you think it helped?xx

Had a transvaginal scan but I feel like I am more far gone (period issues)

I’m on xonvea for HG and it hasn’t helped me with the nausea. I feel nauseous 24/7 and worse in the evenings but it has really knocked the vomiting on the head which is helpful.
