Could I be pregnant?

So I haven't had a period for 4 months since having my coil removed. The last few days I have had nausea and heartburn then this morning when I woke up I threw up. Could I possibly be pregnant even though I haven't had any periods??

If you have had sex and used no contraception then yes you could be pregnant. Get a test.

PinkPonyClub25 · 16/02/2025 17:44

Of course get a test.

TheThreeMiracles · 16/02/2025 17:45

Yes definitely could be pregnant, have you got a test you could use ?

Unknown24x · 16/02/2025 17:47

Not to hand but I will definitely purchase one now I know it’s a possibility

Where you not trying for a baby? It sounds like your definitely pregnant off what you've said unless you've caught a bad bug.

Unknown24x · 16/02/2025 18:27

No I wasn’t trying, I only had the coil removed due to problems I’m having with my menstrual cycle and chronic pain. I will 100% rule it out just in case

Are you able to get a test this evening ? X

dementedpixie · 16/02/2025 18:50

You ovulate before a period so it's entirely possible to be pregnant without having a period first. Were you using other methods of contraception once the coil was removed?

Unknown24x · 16/02/2025 18:53

i have just taken a test and with a light I can see a very faint line but it appears very close to the control line so not sure what that means? X

Can you post it here?

Unknown24x · 16/02/2025 19:22

They’re not very clear but I feel like I can see something but quite close to control line…

Yes I went onto the pill

They're negative. Maybe it's your cycle regulating since coming off the coil. It's normally the pressure from a bump that cause heartburn so unlikely to be the cause of that.

Unknown24x · 16/02/2025 19:56

Do you know why there could be a faint line near the control line? I put it through an app too which also detected a line x

Groundhogday2025 · 16/02/2025 20:39

Negative. I’d expect a stronger line than that for you to be getting the symptoms you describe anyway. It can vary from person to person but sickness doesn’t usually start until 4/5 weeks but often even later by which time you’d have a clear positive.
I had sickness and nausea from 6 weeks with my DD and I’ve only been feeling queasy sporadically for the last week this pregnancy and I’m 8 weeks.

PinkPonyClub25 · 16/02/2025 21:29

That's negative. I'd assume you've got a bug.
