Vitamins and antibiotics?

Hi,

quick question as it just occurred to me… I’ve been prescribed antibiotics for a UTI that I may or may not have ( basically my urine samples keep coming back contaminated and just to be safe they want me to take antibiotics ).

i took my pregnancy vitamin tablet then realised is it safe to take it during antibiotics course? I’ve not heard anything otherwise I mean the doctor would have said right?

I am also on antibiotics for a UTI, and all I was told is some certain antibiotics may use up more folic acid. So I think it should be fine to continue your vitamins. I wasn't told otherwise by my doctor, and the slip of paper says nothing about not taking vitamins alongside it :)

I couldn’t take Zinc with the antibiotics I was just on but I think it was only that type. Hope you feel better soon!
