I am 12 weeks today (scan tomorrow gulp)

Its really hot here and we have a lido (outdoor pool, unheated) in the park. I am really keen to have a swim but have heard that you shouldnt swim in really cold water when pregnant.

Looked on internet and its mixed advice some say fine other that you shouldnt. I feel abit of a timewaster ringing the midwife so I can lounge in a pool! Anyone any info on this?

Never heard anyone say you shouldn't before. We're not talking iced over water here are we - just a normal pool temp? Can't see any reason not to.

yes of course you can

unless you actually get hypothermia the baby won't feel a thing
