Did anyone have piles that went away naturally?

NC'd because I'm embarrassed Blush

20 weeks pregnant and have a pile that's causing all sorts of discomfort. Only had it for 2 days but I'm worried that it'll only get worse as pressure increases down there. Did anyone else have a pile/piles that went away naturally? I don't even want to think about birth with them Sad

Hi @sadpineapple I didn't realise I had one until I gave birth and wondered why it hurt so much there. Mine actually went away naturally a few weeks after giving birth (sorry I know you're asking of before birth). I would recommend speaking to GP and asking for a cream. Hope it goes away for you! I'm now 16 weeks pregnant and really hoping it doesn't happen again but probably will.

Yeah mine goes away mostly and just occasionally if I've been constipated does it come back for a week or two.. or it might be a different one!

Yes mine is, it's huge but goes away a week after I've had to strain.

Not during pregnancy but many, many times before! I'm too weirded out to put cream on it so I always just pray they go away and they do 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes! I had this recently at about 33 weeks pregnant and was so depressed about it. I had been constipated for a lot of my pregnancy. I started having a movicol every morning which sorted the constipation. Pile has gone now - I didn't think it would so late in pregnancy and that I would have to wait until after birth.
