I'm concerned mommies for the past two months my cycle is 16 days or 18 so I last saw my mens on 02 February and on the 11th I had unprotected sex and he pulled out with my bf I'm not sure now when do I ovulate .on the 12 February I saw a cervical mucus like the one I have when used to ovulate normally stretchy and slippery like gum . could it be semen or it was my ovulation discharge?

What do think?

PinkPonyClub25 · 13/02/2025 09:47

Maybe you need to pay more attention to school.

LadysMantle · 13/02/2025 09:48

Seriously.

MomToBe2025xx · 13/02/2025 09:48

Your post doesn't make much sense? There is always a chance of pregnancy when you have unprotected sex

LavenderBlue19 · 13/02/2025 09:49

I'm pretty sure this is covered in Biology. Maybe pay more attention.

holycrumpet · 13/02/2025 09:52

'I had unprotected sex'

This is what causes pregnancy.

Whoarethoseguys · 13/02/2025 09:52

Of course you can!
How old are you?

SemperIdem · 13/02/2025 09:53

Well yes, obviously.

sanityisamyth · 13/02/2025 09:53

Either look in a KS3 biology textbook, or read the weekly threads written about this.

MumChp · 13/02/2025 09:54

Google is your friend.
The answer is yes.

Shmee1988 · 13/02/2025 09:56

If you're asking that question then you're not old enough or mature enough to have a child.

JuneySunshine · 13/02/2025 09:58

If you think your cycle is 16/18 days and the NHS says we ovulate 10 to 16 days before your period, it's likely you're ovulating from Day 6-8.
If your period started on the 2nd (?) then Day 6-8 would be the 8th to the 10th of February but its not an exact science.
It could be semen or egg white cervical mucus. Either way there's chance of pregnancy.

JudgeBread · 13/02/2025 09:58

Of course you can. If you're having unprotected sex you're actively trying for a baby.

RossGellersCat · 13/02/2025 10:09

Really simply, yes. Very much yes. My sister had two unplanned pregnancies in less than a year using the "track my ovulation and pull out method".

Margorett · 13/02/2025 10:12

Dear Lord !!!!!!

Re246 · 13/02/2025 10:31

If you are concerned and do not want to be pregnant then you really need to be using proper contraception, not guessing at dates and hoping for the best. This is going to land you in hot water.

3luckystars · 13/02/2025 22:14

Yes it’s how most babies are made. All the best x

murasaki · 13/02/2025 22:23

What an idiot. Pull out is not contraception.

Yayayaboo · 13/02/2025 22:44

If you are having such a short cycle of only 16/18 days ( are you sure you are having a proper period, not just some random bleeding? What’s your normal cycle length?) then you could do with speaking to your GP as something isn’t right. Have you had the HPV jab ?

marshmallowfinder · 13/02/2025 22:46

Shmee1988 · 13/02/2025 09:56

If you're asking that question then you're not old enough or mature enough to have a child.

Or to be having sex.

NorthernGirlie · 13/02/2025 22:49

She's asking for advice, not judgement.

Yes op, you can get pregnant from "pull out" and nobody should be using this method unless they'd be happy to be pregnant.

She's old enough to know her cycle, and about cervical mucus, I think she knows about the odds of getting pregnant from pull out.

Pull outs not called TTC for nothing
