Hi all,
im currently 11+5 days pregnant and the nausea is really starting to get to me. I’m off my food completely and only managing small meals here and there but even that’s a push, I can only manage sips of coke and feel so guilty that I’m not able to proper nourish baby at this stage. When did your nausea ease and what did you do to help it? I got some medication from the doctors yesterday but they have only given me a weeks supply. Just want to know that it gets better. Thank you for any advice/replies 😊

I got ginger soother type sweets, can't remember where from unfortunately but they helped massively. I also got a bottle of ginger fragrance and carried it around with me to smell until the nausea wore off.

I think I started to feel a bit better around 15/16 weeks

With my daughter the pregnancy was on and off all pregnancy. The first and third trimesters were the worst and during most of the trimester I had sickness and nausea. The second trimester was mostly ok with the odd day of sickness.
I had cyclizine which helped a bit and that was enough. In subsequent pregnancies it's not as effective and I've tried other meds.

I feel your pain!

I was similar to you where I was having Diet Coke to help with nausea. I did find some fresh fruit really helped and also pineapple juice too

Ginger ale and dry biscuits - didn’t help the nausea/sickness at all but was all that I could stomach. I felt awful until 16weeks and then felt much better and could eat properly again. Hoping yours eases soon.

The only thing that’s helping me (10+3) is prochlorperazine 3 times a day & not letting myself get too hungry. I feel your pain it’s tough 😢

This is what I have been prescribed! May I ask how long you have been prescribed it for?!

It’s so tough isn’t it! The thought of Diet Coke at the minute is all that gets me through. I had a good four days last week and thought I was over it only for it to return with a vengeance!

Xonvea was the only thing that helped me

Fashionlover123 · 13/02/2025 09:32
